LG CU320 - LG Launches Cingular 3G Phone

LG Electronics said Wednesday it’s rolling out the first phone that will run on Cingular’s faster third-generation network, reflecting the South Korean electronics giant’s aggressive push into the U.S. cell phone market.
With over 50 million subscribers, Cingular is the largest U.S. cell phone carrier, making LG’s first Cingular 3G cell phone a savvy move. LG said it is now the second-largest cell phone manufacturer for the U.S. market after Motorola.
The CU320 cell phone will use Cingular’s fast broadband-speed third-generation network, which Cingular launched in early December
The phone, announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, is expected to be available this month and has Bluetooth capacity, a 1.3 mega pixel camera, and an MP3 music player.
